Sabine Troschke, personal assistant
Characteristic North German sobriety, outstandingly competent and human. She gives all she has and demands a great deal from the team. For 25 years she has followed her vocation as a medical assistant: training as a doctor's assistant; for a long time she worked as the secretary of a (university) professorial surgeon; then employed in medical research; later a team leader; and assistant during operations.
- She loves new challenges.
- At home her husband, two-year-old daughter Emily and cats await her eagerly.
- Formerly a top sportswoman (e.g. runner-up in a Taekwon-Do European championship) and a very enthusiastic motor-bike driver.
- Hobby gardener with a weakness for roses.
Alev Aydin, doctor's assistant
Connects modern European attitudes to life with Turkish traditions. She completed her training with Dr. Edelman.
- Our patients love her because she radiates warmth and friendliness.
- She is the advocate for the patients, and mediates the contacts with Turkish visitors.
- She is married, takes into account the traditions of her personal origins and background, and loves life in Germany.
Violetta Denisov, doctor's assistant
Within her person Asia and Europe complement each other. Her great-grandfather from Mongolia taught her Eastern impeturbability. Later she migrated (as an ethnic German) with her family from Kazakhstan to Germany, trained successfully as a doctor's assistant while working for Dr. Edelmann.
- She completed an additional training for working with X-rays machines.
- After a successful stint employed in a rectal surgical practice, she returned to Dr. Edelmann's team, and can be deployed in any area of work within the practice.
- Characteristics: hard-working, competent and conscientious.
- She loves her cats above all else, and is proud of the culture and history of Mongolia.
Ulrika Hallersleben, assistant
Ulrika is somebody for whom communication is at the centre of her life. As a result she is very happy to work for and with people. Up till now she has worked in – amongst other places – an office, an organisation, in a cultural field. She sees her new occupation in the practice as an enrichment of her life.
Privately her 18 month old daughter Sophia is foregrounded with her she is discovering the world anew; in addition she is learning from Sophia to allow herself to adjust to a completely different life rhythm.
She loves travel and foreign cultures. Family connections lead her to Northern Europe (Sweden), and likewise they draw her southwards (Spain and Latin-America).
